Brisil is a fast-growing sustainable materials company that turns biomass waste like rice husk and straw into high-value chemicals using its patented technology. Its main product, precipitated silica, is used in green tires, rubber goods, toothpaste, detergents, paints, and pharmaceuticals.
Brisil currently operates a commercial-scale plant in Halol, Vadodara, Gujarat, and is expanding production facilities across India, Southeast Asia & Europe.
Founded by an IIT BHU alumnus, Brisil is backed by CIIE (IIM Ahmedabad), Sanyo Trading (Japan), Europe based funds, Foundation, Momentum Capital, and others, with additional support from the Department of Science & Technology and programs such as Marico Innovation Foundation Scale-Up and Technoserve GreenR.

Role Description
Operations
- Manage production, scheduling, dispatch, and quality control.
- Oversee procurement, vendor development, and logistics.
- Plan capacity utilization and resource optimization.
- Implement Lean/Six Sigma and best-practice systems.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and labor regulations.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor teams across production, logistics, and procurement.
- Define KPIs, monitor performance, and foster collaboration across functions.
- Build a strong culture of safety, ethics, and teamwork.
Financials & Systems
- Track and control plant budgets and operating costs.
- Drive efficiency and cost-saving initiatives.
- Support management in budgeting and business reviews.
- Explore automation and ERP integration for process improvement.
Requirements
- Education: B.Tech/M.Tech (mandatory); MBA (preferred, top institute).
- Experience: 7-10 years in manufacturing operations — ideally in chemicals or FMCG.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, automation, and compliance.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, decisive, and focused on operational excellence.
