Operational Manager — Organic Premium Retail Grocery Business

We are looking for a highly organized and execution-focused Operational Manager to oversee day-to-day retail operations, optimize processes, manage teams, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Store & Operations Management
* Oversee daily retail store operations ensuring smooth workflow and high operational standards
* Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, shrinkage, and replenishment processes
* Ensure product freshness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety standards
* Coordinate with procurement and vendors for timely stock availability
* Improve operational efficiency and implement SOPs across departments
Team Leadership
* Manage and supervise store staff, supervisors, and support teams
* Conduct hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
* Build a customer-focused and disciplined work culture
* Ensure staff productivity and accountability
Customer Experience
* Maintain premium customer service standards
* Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
* Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation align with brand standards
Business Performance
* Track sales performance, operational KPIs, wastage, and profitability
* Prepare operational reports and provide actionable insights to management
* Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth
* Support expansion planning and process scalability
Vendor & Supply Chain Coordination
* Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners
* Ensure quality checks for incoming products, especially organic and perishable items
* Coordinate timely deliveries and warehouse/store movement
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Operations, or related field
* 3–7 years of experience in retail operations, grocery, FMCG, supermarket, or premium retail management
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Experience handling inventory, store operations, and vendor coordination
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
* Proficiency in MS Excel, POS systems, and retail reporting tools
* Experience in organic, premium, or fresh food retail is highly preferred
