Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Mangaluru for an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operational activities, ensure the smooth execution of logistics and supply chain processes, and monitor warehouse, transportation, and customs clearance operations. Key responsibilities include collaborating with teams to improve efficiency, managing client requirements, supervising project logistics, ensuring compliance with policies, and maintaining seamless operations aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily freight operations (Air, Ocean & Road & custom clearance )
• Manage supply chain processes and ensure timely cargo movement
• Monitor and optimize KPIs related to cost, transit time, and service quality
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and transport partners
• Handle documentation, compliance, and customs coordination
• Lead and manage the operations effectively
• Manage project logistics and oversized cargo movements (advantage)
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term relationship building
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in Freight forwarding Co Operations
• Strong knowledge of Operations & Supply Chain Management
• Proven ability to track and improve operational KPIs
• Experience in customer handling and relationship management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and team leadership skills
• Experience in project logistics / oversized cargo handling is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree
• Proficiency in logistics and supply chain software
