Role Description
18startup is looking for a highly execution-oriented Operations Manager who can manage the backend engine of our startup programs, workshops, founder communication, and sales operations.
This is not a corporate desk job.
This role is for someone who enjoys ownership, can handle fast-moving startup environments, learns quickly, solves problems independently, and can execute both strategic and repetitive operational tasks without losing momentum.
If you’ve built something before, worked in startups, handled operations, or understand how founders think, this role will be a strong fit.
Role Overview
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations across:
- Program operations
- Sales operations
- Workshop execution
- Founder communication
- CRM management
- Cohort onboarding
- Internal coordination
- Basic workflow automations
You will work directly with the COO and help ensure smooth execution across multiple startup cohorts and workshops.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Workshop Operations
- Manage end-to-end execution of startup workshops and founder programs
- Coordinate sessions, scheduling, communication, and delivery
- Ensure recordings, resources, and post-session materials are uploaded on time
- Track participant engagement and operational progress
- Manage multiple cohorts simultaneously
Sales Operations
- Handle CRM management and lead tracking
- Manage participant onboarding workflows
- Ensure enrolled founders receive the right communication at the right time
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams for smooth operational execution
- Maintain operational accuracy across enrollment pipelines
Founder & Community Support
- Act as an operational point of contact for founders enrolled in programs
- Support founders with administrative and operational requirements
- Ensure smooth communication and issue resolution
Team & Process Management
- Manage 1–2 interns supporting operations and automations
- Build and improve operational systems and SOPs
- Identify inefficiencies and improve workflows continuously
- Execute repetitive operational tasks with consistency and ownership

- Detail-oriented and process-driven
Preferred Background
- 3+ years of experience in operations
- Startup experience is highly preferred
- Candidates who have built or attempted a startup themselves will get a strong preference
- EdTech/startup ecosystem experience is a bonus

Location & Work Mode

- ₹15,000 - ₹20,000 per month
