We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Operations Manager with strong expertise in handling international tour operations, especially Europe and Asia customised tour packages.
The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in coordinating with international DMCs, designing customised itineraries, managing outbound tour operations, and delivering seamless travel experiences for both Group Tours and FIT clients.
This role requires a professional with excellent destination knowledge, supplier network management skills, and the ability to independently create and execute high-quality international travel packages.
Key Responsibilities
DMC & Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard Destination Management Companies (DMCs) across Europe, Asia, and other key destinations
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and inclusions with DMCs, hotels, and ground operators
- Build and maintain strong long-term supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and priority service
- Ensure quality control of all DMC-handled services including transfers, accommodation, sightseeing, and guide services
- Coordinate with international partners to ensure smooth execution of Group Tours and FIT operations
Customized Tour Planning & Operations
- Design and customize premium Europe and Asia tour packages based on customer requirements and travel trends
- Prepare detailed itineraries, costing, and travel plans for outbound clients
- Handle complete tour coordination from planning stage to execution
- Ensure smooth communication between suppliers, sales teams, and customers throughout the journey
- Monitor operational quality and deliver exceptional customer travel experiences
- Product Development & Business Growth
- Research and develop innovative tour packages, destinations, and travel experiences
- Identify new B2B partnerships, travel agent networks, and business opportunities
- Stay updated on visa policies, airline updates, destination trends, and competitor offerings in the outbound travel market
- Support management with pricing strategies, brochure content, and marketing inputs
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the travel industry (Outbound Tours preferred)
- Freshers will not be considered
- Strong hands-on experience working with international DMCs, ground handlers, and tour operators
- Excellent knowledge and proven experience in creating and managing customized Europe and Asia tour packages is mandatory
- Strong understanding of itinerary planning, tour costing, and international travel operations
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and team management skills
- Proficient in email communication and travel CRM/booking tools
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
