Operations Manager – Luxury Ground Transportation
Location: Remote (India-based preferred)

We are a technology-enabled luxury ground transportation booking platform headquartered in Canada, operating across major cities including Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary, and Vancouver. We operate as a centralized booking and dispatch platform managing licensed, insured subcontractor chauffeurs across multiple cities. The company is in a structured growth phase, transitioning from founder-led execution to system-led scalability.
Role Summary
The Operations Manager will own the end-to-end operational governance across all active cities.
This role is responsible for building operational structure, enforcing performance standards, protecting margins, and reducing service variability.
This is not a dispatch role. It is a systems leadership role.
The objective is to build a stable, scalable operational backbone that reduces founder dependency and supports multi-city growth.
Core Responsibilities
Operational Governance
• Own and improve on-time pickup performance
• Establish and enforce operational KPIs
• Monitor cancellations and service failures
• Implement structured service recovery protocols
• Create escalation management framework
Supplier & Chauffeur Network Management
• Design and enforce chauffeur onboarding standards
• Monitor licensing and insurance compliance
• Implement supplier performance scorecards
• Reduce last-minute cancellations
• Strengthen city-wise backup coverage
• Improve supplier rate discipline
Margin & Cost Control
• Monitor revenue vs supplier payout per trip
• Identify operational leakage
• Track refund patterns
• Maintain margin consistency
• Advise on pricing discipline
Systems & Process Architecture
• Optimize CRM, dispatch systems, and automation workflows
• Reduce manual intervention points
• Build operational dashboards
• Standardize SOP documentation
• Improve reporting structure
Team Supervision
• Supervise Dispatch Executive(s)
• Conduct performance reviews
• Define workload standards
• Ensure accountability
Key KPIs
• On-time pickup rate
• Supplier cancellation rate
• Complaint ratio
• Margin consistency
• Escalation response time
• Reduction in operational errors
Required Experience
• 6+ years in operations management
• Experience in transportation, logistics, travel, or service networks
• Strong process architecture capability
• Experience managing remote teams
