We are looking for enthusiastic interns who want to gain practical experience in retail operations, ERP systems, inventory management, and store operations.
Job Summary
The Operations Management Intern will work closely with the Operations team to support day-to-day retail store operations, inventory management, and ERP execution. This internship offers hands-on exposure to modern retail technology and real-world supermarket operations through a combination of office-based work and mandatory field visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and operate the company's ERP system for day-to-day retail operations.
- Manage store order placement, tracking, and order processing through the ERP portal.
- Create and print product shelf labels and price labels.
- Support inventory management, stock reconciliation, and system updates.
- Conduct physical stock audits and verify inventory accuracy.
- Visit assigned retail stores to support operational activities and ensure SOP compliance.
- Coordinate with store managers to resolve operational issues.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate data records.
- Support process improvements across retail operations.
Eligibility
- Students pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Available for a full-time 3-month internship.
- Comfortable with frequent field visits to retail stores.
- Basic knowledge of computers, MS Excel, and web applications.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn retail operations and ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Familiarity with ERP software, inventory management, or retail operations is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
