Brief On The Organization

Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) is a University established under IIPHG Act, 2015 of Gujarat State. It offers courses in the field of Public Health. It also undertakes various research projects in the field of Public Health. The university is established by Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) with support from the Government of Gujarat, Department of Health & Family Welfare.

Project Brief

The project is a collaborative initiative between the HCL Foundation and the Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) designed to empower rural health workers, including ASHAs and ANMs, through digital innovation. Commencing on 1st March 2026, the one-year project focuses on developing role-specific, bilingual (Hindi and English) learning content and AI-enabled decision-support tools tailored for Maternal and Child Health (MCH) and Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD). By utilizing a Learning Management Information System (LMIS) and a WhatsApp-based chatbot, the initiative aims to provide contextually relevant, standardized information to grassroots health volunteers, ultimately improving service delivery and community health outcomes in the resource-constrained settings of Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh.

Deliverables

 Timeline & Gantt Chart Management: Responsible for managing the project’s Gantt Chart and ensuring all activities adhere to the approved Implementation Schedule.

 Repository & Version Control: Maintain the master Google Drive repository, ensuring all Master Content Sheets, videos, and bilingual assets are organized and version-controlled.

 Donor & Tech Coordination: Coordinate directly with the HCL Foundation and the IT Agency to facilitate the ingestion of content into the mobile application and WhatsApp bot.

 Operational Workflow Management: Manage day-to-day operations and vendor coordination to ensure content compatibility with platform specifications.

 Milestone Documentation & Data Management: Oversee data management for each project milestone, including the compilation of M&E data and the preparation of pilot reports.

 Piloting Logistics: Lead the logistical planning for ground piloting in Month 7, including stakeholder coordination and field-based data collection.

 Financial & Administrative Management: Execute administrative tasks and financial documentation under the guidance of the supervisor, ensuring adherence to the Project Budget.

 Government Program Integration: Leverage experience with government programs to ensure project outputs align with existing Health and Wellness Center (HWC) workflows.

 Reporting & Dissemination: Manage the compilation of final project reports and document the entire project cycle for stakeholder dissemination.

 Any other activities/tasks as assigned by the PI or supervisor.

Qualification: Master of Public Health with medical science background

Experience: Minimum two (02) years of experience in Govt. related/ assisted health programs

Desirable: Strong experience in government public health programs, including close coordination with initiatives operating at Health and Wellness Centres and Front-Line Workers.
