About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic
Operations Lead to lead and optimize our day-to-day business operations. This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence, driving efficiency, managing cross-functional teams, and supporting long-term organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep operational knowledge, and a track record of process improvement and team development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Own end-to-end operational strategy across multiple business verticals, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process automation, and efficiency improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide guidance throughout the process.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers ensuring quality, compliance, and reliability.
- Build and maintain meaningful, long-term partnerships with vendors, distributors, and manufacturers, focusing on bulk purchasing strategies and negotiated discount structures.
- Negotiate favorable terms, contracts, and pricing with vendors while maintaining strong relationships.
- Drive standardization of processes across verticals while allowing flexibility for business-specific needs.
- Oversee purchase requisitions, order processing, and contract execution.
- Implement procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and sustainability standards.
- Establish operational governance frameworks, approval matrices, and escalation mechanisms across verticals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage cross-functional alignment with operations, finance, and business development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, including a senior management role.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization.
- Strong understanding of procurement software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
