About the role
You will work directly with our Operations Associate and get hands-on experience running the backbone of a D2C brand. This is not a passive learning role. You will be executing, coordinating and problem solving from week one.
Perform well and this becomes a full time role. That is the deal.
What you will do:
Shopify and Store Operations
- Assisting with day to day Shopify store management including product updates, order tracking and basic troubleshooting
- Keeping the store backend clean, updated and running smoothly
Inventory and Warehouse Coordination
- Supporting inventory reconciliation and stock level tracking
- Coordinating with warehouse partners and flagging discrepancies
- Learning and working within our WMS (Warehouse Management System)
Order Fulfillment and Logistics
- Tracking orders end to end and following up with logistics partners
- Helping resolve delivery issues and ensuring SLAs are met
Customer Support
- Being the first point of contact for customer queries across email, DMs and any support channels
- Resolving order related issues including delays, returns, exchanges and complaints with speed and empathy
- Escalating issues that need senior attention and following up until they are closed
- Maintaining a log of recurring issues so we can fix root causes, not just symptoms
- Representing the brand in every customer interaction. How you respond is how the brand is perceived
Systems and AI Tools
- Helping identify and test AI tools or automation that can make ops and customer support more efficient
- We actively want someone curious about this, not just someone who can follow a checklist
What we are looking for:
- Someone who is naturally organised and hates loose ends
- Strong written communication. Customer facing responses represent the brand directly
- Patient and empathetic when dealing with customer issues, firm when needed
- Comfortable with Google Sheets and willing to learn Shopify and WMS tools
- Curious about AI tools and how they can be applied to real business problems
- No ego about doing whatever it takes to get things done
