Talasha has been mandated to hire an Operations Head for a leading online groceries delivery & quick service platform. This is an impactful role that will lead operations strategy and last mile delivery for the region
Responsibilities
- P&L -Own end-to-end P&L across cities & region and multiple micro-fulfillment centres, maintaining in-store operational efficiency and last-mile performance
- Network Expansion & Scaling: Spearhead last-mile network expansion, scaling operations to cities nationwide and launching dark stores to meet aggressive order-volume growth
- Delivery Speed & Reliability: Institute a 10-minute delivery assurance through dark-store placement and dynamic routing; maintaining benchmark delivery speeds and service levels even as coverage expands
- Fleet Capacity & Team Leadership: Build and lead a national delivery organization from the ground up – hiring and training thousands of drivers and establishing regional leadership; implement performance management and mentorship programs to ensure fleet capacity kept pace with demand
- Cost & Incentives Optimization: Streamline delivery economics with KPI-driven routing and incentive design. Restructure payout schemes and batch-delivery strategies to reduce cost per order while keeping drivers motivated
- Automation & Tech Deployment: Champion cutting-edge logistics technology (centralized ops dashboards, predictive demand forecasting, dynamic dispatch and rider apps) to standardize processes and enable real-time visibility, driving continuous efficiency improvements across the fleet
- Improved SLAs: Create comprehensive playbooks for improved SLA s of delivery timelines & efficiency by optimising zones, fleets, cost structures etc.
- Performance monitoring : Create dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, service breaches, cost per service, etc
- Customer Escalations -Effectively handle customer escalations by implementing corrective actions and managing reverse logistics with cross-functional teams (CFTs)
Good to Have -
- Experience owning regional operations for leading quick service platforms (swiggy, zepto, blinkit etc)
- Strong skillset in leading last mile delivery, fleet management & operations strategy
- Prior experience owning P&L
CTC - Rs.40-60 LPA (Basis last drawn)
Location - Bengaluru / NCR / Mumbai/ etc
