Role Description
1. Manage service bookings and coordinate with technicians for painting and other home services.
2. Track daily operations and ensure timely completion of assigned service requests.
3. Pitch and onboard service professionals by explaining the company's partnership model and collecting their details for the partner database.
4. Handle customer communication, including booking confirmations, follow-ups, and feedback.
5. Maintain operational data and reports related to service orders, technician availability, and job status.
6. Research and identify potential service partners (painters, plumbers, electricians, cleaners, etc.) in target areas.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Knowledge of Operations and Operations Management for overseeing and supporting daily tasks
- Analytical Skills to evaluate operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Detail-oriented mindset and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic project management tools is a plus
Other requirements
1. Candidates interested in operations, business development, and startup growth will be preferred.
2. For a service startup like Nextserv, the biggest challenge is building supply (technicians), not customers. During the internship, you will focus on finding technicians, calling and convincing them, and building a strong partner network.
3. Candidates with strong communication and coordination skills.
4. Interest in operations, field management, and working in a startup environment.
5. Comfortable with making calls and interacting with service professionals for partner onboarding.
6. Basic knowledge of Google Sheets, Excel, and WhatsApp communication.
7. Candidates based in Lucknow or willing to work in the Lucknow market will be preferred.
Additional information
Stipend Structure:
Fixed pay: ₹ 2,000 - 5,000 /month
Incentive pay: ₹ 5,000 - 20,000 /month
Job offer:
On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of ₹ 300000 to 500000/year
