Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Executive (Pricing & Documentation) to join our Operations team in Gurugram.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing export logistics operations, coordinating shipments, preparing documentation, communicating with customers and overseas partners, and ensuring the smooth movement of cargo from origin to final destination. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling multiple shipments simultaneously while maintaining high levels of accuracy, compliance, and customer service.
Key Responsibility
- Coordinate end-to-end export freight operations and shipment execution.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain shipping documentation with complete accuracy.
- Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers, overseas agents, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, customs brokers, and other logistics partners.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, documentation standards, and company SOPs.
- Resolve shipment-related operational issues and proactively communicate solutions.
- Monitor shipment timelines to ensure on-time delivery and service excellence.
- Maintain accurate operational records and update internal systems regularly.
- Generate operational reports and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or export/import operations.
- Hands-on experience in shipment coordination, freight documentation, and cargo movement.
- Strong understanding of international logistics and freight forwarding processes.
- Knowledge of customs documentation and export procedures will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics/TMS software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Ocean Export operations.
- Knowledge of pricing and freight documentation.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and international trade documentation.
- Customer-centric approach with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
