We're Hiring: Operations & Automation Specialist (Remote)
Umbrella is looking for a detail-oriented Operations & Automation Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys streamlining processes, working with automation tools, and supporting operational workflows in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time remote position working 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Manage and support daily operational tasks and workflows
Build, maintain, and optimize automations using tools like Zapier and similar platforms
Work with APIs to connect systems and automate processes
Use prompt engineering to design and optimize AI-assisted workflows
Maintain and manage operational data using Excel and Google Sheets
Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency
Document processes and automation workflows in Google Docs and Drive
🔹 Required Skills & Qualifications
2–3 years of professional experience in operations, automation, or related roles
Strong understanding of API integrations and automation tools (Zapier or similar)
Working knowledge of Prompt Engineering / AI workflow optimization
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive)
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a remote work environment
🔹 Preferred
Experience working with no-code / low-code automation platforms
Familiarity with workflow optimization and operational process management
