At Plattr, we’re building the operating system for event food — from house parties to corporate catering.
This role is for someone who is on the ground, inside kitchens, making sure every order goes out perfectly.
What You’ll Be Doing (Core Role)
- Being physically present at partner kitchens during order execution
- Ensuring food preparation aligns with order requirements (quantity, packaging, timing)
- Monitoring quality, hygiene, and consistency
- Managing dispatch readiness and coordination with delivery teams
- Ensuring spill-proof packaging standards are followed
- Handling last-minute changes / escalations on-ground
- Acting as the bridge between Plattr, kitchens, and delivery teams
- Tracking order execution and reporting issues in real time
Day-to-Day Reality
- You’ll be in kitchens during peak hours
- You’ll coordinate with chefs, helpers, and delivery agents
- You’ll solve problems on the spot
- You’ll ensure orders for 10–100+ people go out smoothly
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who is comfortable working on-ground (not desk-based)
- High ownership — if something goes wrong, you fix it
- Ability to handle pressure during peak order times
- Strong coordination & communication skills
- Basic understanding of food operations / kitchens (preferred, not mandatory)
- Willingness to work flexible hours (events don’t follow 9–5)
Bonus If You Have
- Experience in cloud kitchens / catering / food delivery ops
- Worked with Swiggy/Zomato kitchens / catering vendors
- Understanding of food packaging, dispatch, or logistics
