Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Executive to manage and streamline insurance claim processes. The ideal candidate will have a medical background (MBBS/BAMS/BHMS preferred) and experience or interest in health insurance claims, hospital documentation, and TPA coordination. The role involves ensuring smooth claim processing, reducing rejection rates, and coordinating with hospitals, doctors, and insurance partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process health insurance claims and pre-authorization requests
- Verify medical documentation, treatment records, and billing details
- Coordinate with hospitals, doctors, and insurance companies/TPAs
- Ensure accurate claim submission and compliance with insurance policies
- Follow up on pending claims, approvals, and reimbursements
- Identify and resolve claim discrepancies or rejections
- Maintain claim records and operational reports
- Support the operations team in improving claim turnaround time (TAT)
Preferred Qualifications
- MBBS / BAMS / BHMS / BDS (preferred but not mandatory)
- Alternatively BSc / Healthcare Management / Insurance background
- 1–3 years experience in health insurance, hospital operations, or medical claims
- Understanding of TPA processes and insurance documentation
- Familiarity with medical terminology and treatment protocols
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of insurance claim workflows
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to analyze medical documents and billing
- Proficiency in Excel / basic operational tools
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience working with TPAs, hospitals, or health-tech companies
- Knowledge of cashless claims and reimbursement processes
- Experience in claim audits or medical underwriting
