Role Description
We are looking for a proactive Operations Executive to manage day-to-day FTL transport operations.
The role involves truck sourcing, freight negotiation, transporter coordination, and shipment tracking to ensure smooth and timely movement of cargo.
Key Responsibilities
• Arrange trucks for FTL shipments through transporters, fleet owners, and brokers
• Negotiate freight rates based on route, vehicle type, and market conditions
• Coordinate with drivers, transporters, and internal teams for smooth dispatch and delivery
• Track vehicle movement and proactively manage delays or operational issues
• Build and maintain strong relationships with transporters and truck owners
• Maintain records of freight rates, vehicle availability, and shipment details
• Ensure proper documentation and timely POD (Proof of Delivery) follow-up
Requireda Skills & Experience
• 2–5 years experience in FTL logistics or transport operations
• Strong knowledge of Indian road transport routes and truck types
• Experience negotiating with truck owners, brokers, and transporters
• Good communication skills in Hindi, Marathi, and English
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and logistics systems
• Ability to handle operations in a fast-paced environment
