Looking for a "System Architect" to help scale a family-led manufacturing business.
We are Supple Pack, and we’re at a turning point. We’ve grown through grit and hard work, but to reach the next level, we need to move from "Firefighting" to "Flow."
I am looking for a Plant Controller / Operations Excellence Manager (7–10 years exp) who loves process integrity and systems. You won't just be crunching numbers; you will be the one building the guard rails.
The Challenge:
- Assist with ERP implementation
- Implementing a "single source of truth" via our ERP.
- System Designs - Killing "tribal knowledge" by documenting SOPs.
- Identifying and eliminating wastage at the machine level.
- Internal Audit & Guard Rails: Implement a "checks and balances" system where production, inventory, and quality control are independent of one another.
The Profile: You’ve spent time on a shop floor (plastics/packaging preferred). You understand Costing and OEE. You have a "trust but verify" mindset.
- Background: 7–10 years in Manufacturing Finance, Costing, or Operations Excellence. Experience in Plastic Molding/Packaging is a massive plus.
- Technical: High proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or custom platforms) and Advanced Excel.
- Mindset: A "Skeptic’s Eye"—the ability to spot anomalies in reports and the courage to investigate them on the shop floor.
- Soft Skills: Strong enough to handle pushback from 15-year industry veterans, but diplomatic enough to lead a culture shift.
The Reward: You report directly to the management. You will have the mandate to change how we work.
