About the Role:
We are seeking a highly mature and analytical Operations Excellence Leader to join Firstclub. While the role will initially start with a focus on retail catalog management, the growth path is expected to expand into a much broader operational scope within 6 to 12 months. You will be working directly with the founders, which requires a high level of maturity, strong tech systems understanding, and a drive to optimize existing workflows.
What you'll do:
- Process Excellence & Automation: Double down on automating business processes and workflows within our e-commerce setup to ensure maximum operational efficiency
- AI Integration: Actively leverage AI to enable faster workflows and modernize process optimization
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of at least 7 to 8 people, guiding them to deliver high-quality outputs rather than just managing traditional catalog tasks
- Catalog & Quality Management: Oversee retail catalog quality, pricing intelligence mapping, and overall catalog management
- Customer-Centric Operations: Maintain a strong customer bent of mind, ensuring that all operational and catalog outputs serve the end consumer effectively
What we're looking for:
- Experience: Minimum 7 to 9 years of professional experience
- Industry Background: E-commerce experience is mandatory
- Background in business excellence, catalog quality, or sell-side category teams is highly preferred
- Skillset: We are not just looking for standard people-managers who grew through the ranks; we need smart candidates with a proven track record in heavy process automation and AI utilization
Note: Candidates who have strong process excellence and automation experience within an e-commerce setup, even without direct catalog management experience, are strongly encouraged to apply
