🔍 Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Operations Engineer to support the rollout and operational management of Microsoft 365 Copilot across enterprise environments. This role is critical in ensuring seamless deployment, technical readiness, and user adoption of Copilot while maintaining compliance, governance, and operational excellence.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and end users to ensure smooth activation, stabilization, and ongoing support of production systems.
💼 Key Responsibilities
🔧 Copilot Readiness & Deployment
- Own end-to-end technical readiness and activation of Microsoft Copilot for deployment waves
- Validate prerequisites and ensure controlled, auditable license activation
- Finalize and validate user cohorts (~250 users per wave) before rollout
- Execute Go-Live activities and track license activation via change records
- Participate in Go / No-Go readiness reviews
💻 Device & Environment Compliance
- Perform Windows 11 and device compliance checks
- Ensure devices are updated and aligned with Monthly Enterprise Channel
- Drive remediation for any compliance gaps
🤝 Collaboration & Microsoft Teams Readiness
- Configure Microsoft Teams policies (recording, transcription, retention)
- Enable and validate collaboration features required for Copilot usage
- Ensure governance and compliance alignment for transcripts and recordings
🚀 User Adoption & Hyper-care
- Drive user onboarding, training, and adoption initiatives
- Act as the primary interface between end users, Microsoft CSA support, and internal teams
- Provide hyper-care support during the first week post Go-Live
- Send pre-deployment and Go-Live communications
🛠️ Continuous Improvement
- Troubleshoot issues related to Teams, recordings, and transcripts
- Collaborate with Messaging and Security teams for policy consistency
- Document recurring issues, solutions, and lessons learned in KBs and FAQs
- Continuously improve rollout processes for future deployments
🛠️ Required Skills
- Strong experience in Microsoft 365 Copilot configuration and rollout
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Teams policies (recording, transcription, retention)
- Good understanding of Windows 11 compliance and device management
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem and enterprise collaboration tools
- Experience with change management and deployment processes
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder communication and user engagement skills
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft 365 Copilot / M365 deployments
- 15 years of full-time education required
