About NOKO
NOKO is a character IP company building the first AI companion for children. We are launching an animated show, a physical AI companion product, and a merchandise line. As we move from pre-production into manufacturing and sales, we need someone who can own the operations side of this journey from the ground up.
About the Role
This is a ground-floor operations role. You will be responsible for setting up and managing the entire supply chain and order fulfillment pipeline for NOKO’s physical products, including merchandise and the AI companion device.
That means sourcing vendors (domestic and international), managing production timelines, coordinating quality checks, handling logistics and shipping, and eventually managing incoming orders across our D2C website and marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart.
You will not be inheriting an existing system. You will be building one. If that excites you, read on.
What You Will Do
Vendor Sourcing and Management
- Research, identify, and evaluate domestic and international vendors and manufacturers for merchandise production (apparel, bags, stationery, toys, packaging).
- Request and compare quotations, coordinate sampling, negotiate pricing and minimum order quantities.
- Maintain vendor relationships, track production timelines, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with international vendors on import logistics, customs documentation, and shipping.
Order and Inventory Management
- Set up and manage inventory tracking systems as products move from production to warehouse to customer.
- Process and track orders from the D2C website, Amazon, and Flipkart.
- Monitor stock levels, flag reorder points, and coordinate replenishment with vendors.
Shipping and Logistics
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping, including last-mile delivery partners and fulfillment services.
- Manage packaging, labelling, and dispatch to ensure products reach customers in a condition that reflects the brand.
- Handle returns, replacements, and any logistics exceptions.
Marketplace Operations
- Help set up and manage seller accounts on Amazon and Flipkart.
- Manage product listings, inventory sync, pricing updates, and marketplace compliance.
- Track marketplace performance and flag issues proactively.
Who Should Apply
- 1 to 3 years of experience in operations, supply chain, procurement, or ecommerce operations. Experience in a D2C brand, ecommerce startup, or merchandise/product company is ideal.
- Comfortable communicating with vendors, including international suppliers. Experience with international sourcing and import logistics is a strong plus.
- Highly organized. You track things. You follow up. Nothing falls through the cracks.
- Proficient with spreadsheets and basic project management tools. You should be able to build and maintain a tracker without being asked.
- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and/or Flipkart Seller Hub is a plus.
- You are comfortable in a startup environment where things are being built from scratch and your role will evolve as the company grows.
