Operations Coordinator / Back-Office Lead
Company: A healthcare services group operating across Australia and India. The Australian arm provides supported living and accommodation services for people with disabilities. The Indian arm is an early-stage healthcare staffing platform serving Delhi NCR.
Reports to: CEO — dotted line to the Australia-based Operations Lead
Location: Delhi NCR (in-office, not remote)
Working hours: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM IST (overlaps with Australian business hours)
Compensation: ₹10–15 LPA depending on experience
What you'll actually do
You are the operational backbone of an Australian healthcare business run from India. You are not a customer-facing role. You are the person who makes sure invoices go out, claims get paid, rosters don't break, audits don't find gaps, and the Australian team can focus on clients instead of paperwork.
Core responsibilities:
Claims & billing. Process weekly claims through the relevant Australian government portals. Reconcile against client service agreements. Chase rejections. Maintain claims accuracy above 98%.
Rostering support. Operate the rostering own platform. Build and publish monthly rosters for supported living houses. Manage shift swaps, sick leave coverage, and roster gap escalations to the Australian Ops Lead.
Compliance documentation. Maintain client files, service agreements, support plans, behaviour support plans, and incident registers. Ensure regulatory documentation is audit-ready at all times.
Recruitment admin. Run the recruitment funnel for Australian support workers — job ads, screening calls, reference checks, worker screening verification, onboarding paperwork, induction scheduling.
Reporting. Build and maintain weekly dashboards: occupancy, billable hours, claim status, roster compliance, incident counts, recruitment pipeline. Present to CEO weekly.
Indian healthcare platform support. Apply the same back-office discipline to our Delhi NCR healthcare staffing platform as it scales — initially around 20% of your time, growing.
Non-negotiables
4+ years in healthcare, aged care, or disability services back-office, preferably with Australian, UK, or Canadian exposure
Hands-on experience with at least one rostering platform and one billing/claims system
Excellent written English in an Australian/Western professional register
Strong Excel/Google Sheets — pivot tables, lookups, basic dashboarding
Comfortable with a 6:30 AM IST start
Nice to have
Prior exposure to Australian government healthcare portals
Experience with care management platforms
Power BI or Looker Studio dashboarding
