Role Title: Fashion Operations & Production Manager
Location: Gurgaon, India (On-site)
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an independent designer-led brand in the fashion industry, who is seeking an experienced and highly organised professional to oversee day-to-day operations and production. As the brand continues to grow, they are looking for someone who can bring structure to production workflows, manage supplier relationships, and ensure collections move smoothly from design through to manufacturing and delivery.
This role will be based on-site in Gurgaon and may require occasional travel to manufacturing partners, suppliers, and production facilities as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end production process from sampling through to final manufacturing
- Coordinate with manufacturers, fabric suppliers, and production partners
- Oversee production timelines and ensure collections are delivered on schedule
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate production requirements
- Implement and maintain operational processes to support brand growth
- Monitor product quality and ensure production standards are maintained
- Coordinate inventory planning and production quantities
- Work closely with the designer/founder to align production with creative direction
- Support logistics and delivery coordination where required
- Travel to supplier or manufacturing locations when necessary to oversee production
Requirements
- Experience working in the fashion or apparel industry, ideally in production or operations
- Strong understanding of garment manufacturing and production cycles
- Experience working with suppliers, factories, or production partners
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple production timelines simultaneously
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
