maya mental health is an online mental health service in india providing personalised therapy for young adults, students, and couples. we simplify the therapeutic journey by matching clients with relatable therapists through human-led assessments without algorithms or ai, focusing on relational care and a person-first support.
about the role 🤍
we are looking for someone to help us keep maya running smoothly, kindly, and efficiently. you will be the human connection behind our central communications, supporting client care, helping our team stay organised, and manage day-to-day operations.
this is a full-time position, requiring both remote & in-person work based out of goa, india.
key responsibilities 🛠️
client care & communications 💌
- manage central communications with clarity, and empathy.
- serve as a warm, responsive point of contact for client inquiries and ongoing communication.
- conduct gentle, thoughtful follow-ups to support client continuity and care journeys.
- assist with broader client experience initiatives and administrative outreach.
operations & team coordination 🗓️
- support day-to-day schedule coordination and workflow management across maya.
- maintain accurate, organised, and confidential internal records and tracking systems.
- assist with internal coordination, team administrative updates, and onboarding support.
administrative & operational flow 📊
- oversee routine operational documentation, record-keeping, and basic financial coordination.
- keep digital files, folders, and shared tools neatly organised and up-to-date.
- track basic operational metrics and client feedback to help suggest simple, practical process improvements.
who you are 💫
- clear & compassionate communicator: have exceptional written and spoken english skills. you know how to write messages that feel warm, direct and deeply human.
- operations & admin savvy: skilled at coordinating schedules, managing workflows, and ensuring no details fall through the cracks.
- thrives in a remote setup: comfortable working independently, managing your time, and using common digital tools (scheduling platforms, crm systems, and communication apps).
- analytically minded: capable of looking at client feedback and operational flow to suggest thoughtful ways we can do things better.
- ethical & reliable: dedicated to maintaining strict client confidentiality and handling all information with care.
- values-aligned: genuinely interested in mental health, accessibility, and inclusive care. you value relational connection and person-first support.
