Role:
We are looking for a dynamic Operations Associate to join our team and take ownership of the academic and placement journey of our students. This role demands strong analytical thinking, customer empathy, and operational excellence. You’ll act as a Success Manager, leading student batches to success across key learning and career milestones.
You'll be given autonomy and full ownership over your student cohorts—this is not a support role, but a strategic one that demands decision-making, initiative, and a deep understanding of our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Success Ownership:
- Drive student performance on core metrics like attendance, assignment submissions, contest clearances, and project completion.
- Constantly track and uplift the batch KPIs through structured interventions and engagement initiatives.
Student Psychology & Engagement:
- Leverage a deep understanding of human psychology to identify hidden blockers and motivations.
- Provide timely guidance and support to ensure holistic student progress.
Empathetic Discipline:
- Maintain the right balance of empathy and assertiveness to manage student expectations and discipline effectively.
End-to-End Placement Support:
- Own and drive the placement journey for your batch — from grooming and mock interviews to final offers.
- Collaborate with placement, grooming, and industry teams for outcomes.
- Own the end-to-end career outcomes of your students and act as their internal advocate across all teams—your batch is your business unit.
Cross-functional Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with product, marketing, and academic teams to bring student-centric improvements to life.
- Represent the voice of the user in internal meetings and product brainstorming.
Communication & Influence:
- Convince, communicate, and collaborate effectively with internal teams and students.
- Drive buy-in for initiatives and ensure smooth execution.
Strategic Data Thinking:
- Regularly analyze student and batch-level data to identify patterns, predict risks, and propose scalable solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 1–3 years in operations, consulting, program management, customer-facing or growth roles.
- Education: Graduate from a Tier 1/2/3 college.
- Tech Skills:
- SQL (Basics) – ability to independently extract and interpret data from databases.
- Excel – must be proficient in analyzing, tracking, and reporting data
