Role Description
The Associate - Pomegranate Mandi Field Operations will oversee daily operations in the Baglan mandi, engaging closely with farmers, aggregators, and other key stakeholders. Responsibilities include coordinating with farmers for product quality and pricing, managing on-ground operations to ensure smooth transactions, and troubleshooting any issues to maintain operational efficiency. The associate will also track and assess mandi trends to inform decision-making. This is a contract-based, on-site role located in Baglan.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations and field-level execution
- Ability to communicate effectively with farmers and mandi stakeholders
- Skills in coordination, problem-solving, and operational troubleshooting
- High adaptability and willingness to manage on-ground challenges
- Prior experience in the agriculture or logistics sector is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in agriculture, business, or related fields
