EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field preferred
LOCATION: WFH / WFO/ HYBRID
Essential Requirements:
- Excellent English communication skills - both written and verbal
- Strong Analytical skills - comfortable analysing data, and using tools such as Power BI / Tableau
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and data management
- Positive attitude with an ability to streamline and improve processes
- Tech-savy and comfortable adopting and using AI and new technology
- Understanding of how distribution companies work, with insight into the chemicals industry
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry, order processing and invoice checking
- Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process sales orders and purchase orders accurately within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Coordinate customer orders from receipt through to delivery and provide timely shipment updates
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, warehouses, 3PL logistics providers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Manage vendor and 3PL logistics service transactions, including checking service charges, matching invoices against agreed rates, and supporting payable reconciliation
- Maintain inventory records, order tracking logs and operational documentation
- Support sample dispatch activities, including courier bookings and shipment tracking
- Assist with operational reporting, data maintenance and general administrative tasks
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across ERP systems and internal tracking tools
- Support the continuous improvement of operational processes and workflows
- Supply & demand forecasting and budgeting
- Stock management and planning
- Data analytics (Excel, PPT, Word) across purchasing, sales and inventory
- Clear and effective communication by phone, email and other means with internal colleagues to expedite planning, ordering and delivery
- Monitor and report department KPI to line manager, prepare data and report for weekly and monthly meetings.
