FWI is hiring an Operations Associate to help keep our operational systems running smoothly. If you have a strong attention to detail, enjoy keeping systems running smoothly, and want your work to directly enable high-impact animal welfare work, this role could be a great fit.

What you’ll do
- Run and maintain day-to-day ops systems (finance/admin/documentation)
- Support hiring logistics and early-stage screening
- Keep internal trackers, files, and documentation clean and up to date
- Help improve processes as we grow (and take ownership of new projects over time)
What we’re looking for
- You’re extremely detail-oriented
- You think in systems and like making processes simpler and more reliable
- You can juggle multiple priorities without dropping things
- You stay calm when something unexpected pops up
- You write clearly and carefully
Ops experience is a plus (nonprofit/startups/admin/finance ops/HR ops), but not required. Early-career applicants are welcome.
Details
- Remote, time-zone compatible with IST (anywhere except the Americas)
- Preference for candidates in the Philippines or India
- Bonus if you’re open to spending 1–2 months/year working from our Eluru, Andhra Pradesh office
- Full-time, permanent
- Pay: INR 70,000–90,000/month (location adjustments for non-India hires)
