Apollyon Dynamics is a defense technology and unmanned aerial systems startup, incubated at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus. We build advanced UAV systems and are looking for driven individuals to join our growing operations team.
Role Overview
We are looking for an Operations Associate to support the day-to-day functioning of the company. This is an on-site, full-time role based in Hyderabad, ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and has hands-on exposure to managing logistics or operations, whether in a professional setting or through leadership roles in college (student bodies, clubs, fests, or similar organized structures).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily office and facility operations, including maintenance of workspaces, labs, and equipment
- Coordinate procurement of general and technical supplies (components, tools, lab materials, office supplies)
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to source quotes, place orders, and track deliveries
- Maintain inventory records and ensure timely restocking of essential materials
- Support administrative tasks related to facility upkeep, safety, and compliance
- Assist with coordination between different teams (engineering, HR, admin) to keep daily operations running smoothly
- Track expenses related to procurement and facilities, and maintain accurate documentation
- Prepare reports and maintain operational data to support data-driven decision-making
- Handle ad-hoc operational tasks as they arise in a dynamic startup environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, engineering, or a related discipline
- 1–2 years of experience preferred, in operations, logistics, or a related function — prior exposure to running logistics or coordination for a college club, student body, fest, or similar organized activity is also relevant
- Strong organizational and process coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Solid analytical skills to interpret data, identify operational bottlenecks, and support decision-making
- Customer service orientation, with a focus on responsiveness, follow-through, and maintaining professional relationships
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic data/project tracking tools
- Comfortable multitasking and working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Experience in tech, manufacturing, defense, or high-growth startup environments is an advantage
- Willingness to work on-site in Hyderabad full-time, adapt to dynamic operational needs, and maintain high standards of ethics and confidentiality
