Role Description The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Milaapp is a full-time, remote role responsible for shaping and leading the company’s long-term strategic direction. The CSO will oversee market analysis, competitive intelligence, and business planning to support growth in the reverse bidding marketplace. Daily activities include collaborating with executive leadership to define strategic priorities, evaluating new business models and partnerships, and aligning product, marketing, and operations with the overall strategy. The CSO will develop and monitor key performance indicators, guide resource allocation, and support fundraising and investor relations by presenting clear strategic roadmaps. This role requires frequent cross-functional communication and leadership to ensure that strategic initiatives are executed effectively and sustainably.
Qualifications
- Strong Business Planning and Strategic Planning skills to develop and execute long-term growth strategies.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret market data, customer behavior, and competitive trends.
- Solid understanding of Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions.
- Executive Management experience leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational alignment.
- Proven experience in marketplace, e-commerce, or technology-driven business models.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for internal stakeholders, partners, and investors.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate across time zones.
- Graduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
