Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Operations and Maintenance Engineer role located in the Greater hyderabad Area. The Operations and Maintenance Engineer will oversee daily equipment performance, monitor systems, and respond to operational issues to maintain smooth and safe facility operations. Responsibilities include conducting routine inspections, executing preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and documenting maintenance activities and incident reports. The role involves diagnosing technical problems, implementing solutions to reduce downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance procedures and asset reliability. The engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to identify, analyze, and resolve equipment and system issues efficiently.
- Candidates should be have an experience minimum of 5 years.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders and to document technical findings clearly.
- Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance Management skills to plan, schedule, and execute maintenance activities that improve reliability and reduce downtime.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering knowledge and electronics manufacturing to understand and work with electrical systems, equipment specifications, and safety practices.
- Relevant skills such as familiarity with industrial safety standards, basic mechanical systems, and use of maintenance management software are beneficial.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline is preferred.
- Prior experience in operations and maintenance within industrial of EMS and semiconductor, manufacturing, or facility environments in the similar settings is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site, follow safety protocols, and respond to emergencies or breakdowns as needed.
