Job Opening – Operations & Academy Manager
Mumbai Ultras Football Club | Mumbai
Mumbai Ultras FC is looking for a passionate, organized, and football-driven Operations & Academy Manager to oversee the day-to-day functioning of the club, academy, and team operations.
Mumbai Ultras FC is a growing football club based in Mumbai. The Senior Men’s Team competes in the MFA Elite Division, while the U21 team competes in the MFA Second Division. The academy operates across the age groups U8, U10, U12, U14, and U16, with a strong focus on player development and grassroots football.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily football club and academy operations
- Coordinate with players, coaches, parents, staff, and management
- Handle matchday operations, logistics, travel, scheduling, and team coordination
- Recruit and identify players for the Senior Men’s Team
- Manage player registrations, onboarding, contracts, and operational support
- Oversee academy admissions, enrolment, and student lifecycle management
- Organize tournaments, trials, training sessions, camps, and club events
- Manage centre operations, inventory, equipment, and vendor coordination
- Supervise interns, operational staff, and volunteers
- Coordinate with social media and creative teams for campaigns and content execution
- Support community engagement and grassroots football initiatives
- Ensure smooth execution across all football and academy activities
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/Certification in Sports or Football Management is an added advantage
- 2–3 years of experience in sports operations, academy management, or football team management preferred
- Experience in managing Senior Men’s football teams is preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work during matchdays, tournaments, and weekends
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational coordination tools preferred
