Role: Operations Analyst
Operations Analyst will be responsible for the daily monitoring of transaction health, tracking internal SLA adherence, and maintaining data integrity across the operational verticals (Sales, Onboarding, Support, Risk, etc.)
Location: Gurugram
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Reporting & Monitoring
- Maintain Dashboards: Update and maintain daily reports within the Operations Command Dashboard using BI tools (Quick suite/Tableau).
- Data Integrity: Perform daily reconciliation checks between Payment Gateway logs and internal CRM data to flag discrepancies immediately.
- Routine Reporting: Generate standard performance reports for the Head of Operations, ensuring data is clean and formatted correctly for decision-making.
2. Process Adherence & SLA Tracking:
- SLA Monitoring: Daily tracking of internal OLAs to ensure cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales-to-KYC handoffs) are meeting their time targets.
- Breach Logging: Log and tag operational breaches to assist the Senior Analyst in producing the weekly Executive Breach Reports.
- Workflow Support: Assist in documenting process flows to help identify friction points in the Merchant lifecycle.
3. Payment Performance Watch
- Decline Monitoring: Monitor daily Authorization Rates and flag sudden spikes in decline codes (ISO 8583) for specific schemes (e.g., huge drops in Mada or KNET acceptance).
- Routing Checks: Conduct spot checks to ensure transactions are hitting the correct local rails (Mada, KNET, NAPS, Meeza) and not erroneously routing to international rails.
- Pattern Recognition: Assist in tagging potential "False Declines" for review by the Senior Analyst and Engineering teams.
4. Incident Support
- Incident Logging: Qualifications & Experience Education: Act as the scribe during Critical (P1) Operational Incidents, maintaining an accurate timeline of events.
- Impact Data Fetching: Quickly pull lists of affected merchants or transaction volumes (TPV) to support the Incident Commander during outages.
- Post-Incident Admin: Assist in gathering data and logs required for the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) document.
Requirements- Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Finance, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in Fintech/Payments Operations, (Fresh graduates with strong analytical skills are welcome).
- Previous internship or exposure to Top Fintech/Payments companies is a strong plus.
- Advance Excel
- Master SQL
- Familiarity with tools like QuickSight, Tableau, or PowerBI.
- Payment mechanics: Authorization, Capture, Settlement, and Chargebacks.
- General awareness of the MENA payment landscape, including the distinction between local schemes (Mada, KNET, Benefit) and global schemes (Visa/Mastercard).
- Attention to detail: Ability to spot data anomalies (signal vs noise) in large datasets.
- Communication: Ability to clearly report to Senior Analyst without delay.
- Composure: Ability to remain calm and follow instructions during high-pressure outage scenarios.
