Job Description: Operational Manager
Responsibilities
Daily / Operational Tasks
- Oversee day-to-day plant operations to ensure smooth EMI filter manufacturing and consistent production flow.
- Execute production planning and drive achievement of daily and weekly targets.
- Review daily operational reports (production, inventory, procurement) and take immediate corrective actions.
- Monitor production KPIs and critical process parameters; perform daily reviews to reduce downtime, rework, variation, and material delays.
- Manage stores and inventory operations to maintain stock accuracy, material availability, and prevent line stoppages.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, quality, and shop-floor teams to resolve immediate production issues.
Strategic / Periodic Duties
- Drive process stability and continuous improvement initiatives focused on product performance and cost efficiency.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for production, process, and material issues and implement effective CAPA with timely closure.
- Manage procurement strategy and vendor performance to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of raw materials and components.
- Define and track departmental KPIs (efficiency, rejection rates, inventory turnover, OTD, cost per unit) and implement improvement plans.
- Lead cross-functional projects for long-term operational improvements and ensure regulatory/product compliance.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)
Experience
- Minimum 15 years in electrical / electronic manufacturing industry
- Proven experience in handling Production, Process, Procurement, and Stores
