Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Operation Theatre Technician at SMVS Swaminarayan Hospital, located in Gandhinagar. The Operation Theatre Technician will be responsible for preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment, assisting in surgical procedures, maintaining cleanliness and sterilization in the operation theatre, and ensuring the proper functioning of all surgical equipment. The role involves working closely with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to provide efficient and safe surgical support.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of operating theatre procedures, including sterilization techniques and equipment handling
• Ability to assist in surgical procedures while following strict safety and hygiene protocols
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain cleanliness and order in the operation theatre
• Basic knowledge of surgical equipment and troubleshooting for proper functionality
• Good communication and teamwork skills to work efficiently alongside medical professionals
• Certificate or diploma in Operation Theatre Technology or a related field, along with relevant experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Commitment to confidentiality, patient safety, and maintaining a high standard of care
