Job Summary
Operations Manager- oversees and leads multi-brand restaurant operations across TSP regions and business formats. The role is accountable for driving short- and long-term revenue growth, operational profitability, people development, guest experience, product quality, and execution excellence across all outlets.
The role is responsible for building scalable operational systems, ensuring SOP compliance, driving outlet profitability, strengthening leadership capability, and maintaining alignment with TSP culture, operational vision, and business objectives. The position plays a critical role in scaling operational infrastructure, improving execution consistency, and supporting business expansion across QSR and casual dining formats.
Operational Excellence & Profitability
- Drive regional profitability through strong operational leadership, financial discipline, and execution excellence across all outlets.
- Ensure compliance with TSP operational SOPs, hygiene standards, food safety protocols, service standards, and guest experience benchmarks.
- Monitor operational KPIs including sales, AOV, labor cost, food cost, EBITDA, guest satisfaction, productivity, and outlet profitability.
- Conduct regular outlet reviews, audits, operational assessments, and business performance evaluations.
- Ensure efficient deployment of manpower, operational resources, maintenance, and support systems across outlets.
- Lead implementation of operational process improvements and execution frameworks to improve scalability and consistency.
Financial Management & Business Performance
- Oversee regional budgets, operational expenditures, profitability targets, and business planning initiatives.
- Conduct ROI analysis on operational investments, marketing initiatives, renovations, campaigns, and new business opportunities.
- Analyze reports, trends, business metrics, guest feedback, and operational data to drive decision-making and improve profitability.
- Partner with Finance and Procurement teams to optimize cash flow management, vendor efficiency, and operational cost controls.
Sales Growth & Business Development
- Identify opportunities for sales growth, operational optimization, and market expansion.
- Support marketing and revenue initiatives through operational execution, local activations, and guest engagement programs.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to execute campaigns, menu launches, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Drive initiatives focused on increasing repeat business, customer retention, and brand loyalty.
Expansion, Projects & Asset Management
- Support regional growth strategy including new outlet development, pre-opening execution, remodeling projects, and relocation planning.
- Evaluate site performance, operational feasibility, and market potential for expansion opportunities.
- Coordinate with Projects, Procurement, and Leadership teams for timely execution of new outlet openings.
- Maintain strong relationships with landlords, vendors, and external operational stakeholders.
Leadership, Talent & Culture
- Lead and develop Operations Managers, Outlet Managers, and cross-functional operational teams across regions.
- Drive staffing plans, succession planning, leadership development, and performance management systems.
- Conduct regular reviews, coaching sessions, operational training, and performance assessments.
- Build a strong operational culture aligned with TSP’s systems-driven and performance-oriented environment.
- Handle employee relations, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and compliance with organizational policies.
Guest Experience & Brand Standards
- Ensure consistent guest experience standards across all outlets and formats.
- Monitor guest feedback, service recovery mechanisms, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Resolve escalated guest concerns and operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Drive initiatives focused on improving brand perception, customer satisfaction, and operational reliability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Finance, Marketing, HR, Procurement, Projects, Training, and Product teams to execute organizational priorities.
- Support company-wide operational initiatives, process improvements, technology adoption, and systems implementation.
- Ensure strong communication, alignment, and execution across leadership and operational teams.
Education, Experience & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 8–15 years of progressive hospitality and restaurant operations experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of multi-unit leadership experience in QSR and/or Casual Dining formats.
- Strong experience in multi-brand operations, P&L management, people leadership, and operational scaling.
- Food Safety / FSSAI / HACCP certifications preferred.
