Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, India, for an Operations Executive & Accountant. The role involves managing day-to-day transport operations, logistics coordination, and accounting activities. Key responsibilities include overseeing vehicle movement, driver coordination, vendor management, billing processes, payment follow-ups, invoice processing, maintaining financial records, preparing journal entries, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The individual is also responsible for handling logistics planning, supply chain coordination, client communication, documentation management, and supporting smooth workflow across transport, logistics, and cold chain services. The role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain operational efficiency while supporting business growth.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
- Strong Analytical Skills and ability to interpret financial data effectively
- Expertise in Journal Entries (Accounting) and Finance
- Knowledge of Billing, Invoice Processing, Vendor Management, and Logistics Coordination
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, accounting software tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work on-site and coordinate with teams effectively
- Prior experience in transport operations, logistics, supply chain management, or cold chain services is an advantage
