Job details:
Otto is looking for a highly technical, AI-native person to help customers understand what they can build with Otto and how to get the most out of it.
This is not traditional customer support. You should be deeply familiar with OpenClaw, Hermes, AI agents, automation tools, APIs, and modern AI workflows. You should be comfortable building real automations yourself, troubleshooting them, and explaining them clearly to people who may not be technical.
Your job is to turn Otto’s capabilities into practical use cases, tutorials, documentation, and hands-on customer education.
What You’ll Do
- Create clear video tutorials, product walkthroughs, and onboarding content for Otto
- Build practical OpenClaw and AI automation workflows that customers can copy and use
- Create step-by-step guides for workflows involving Gmail, Calendar, Slack, files, research, APIs, and other applications
- Build and maintain Otto’s Help Center and technical documentation
- Create onboarding guides for new Otto customers
- Answer technical questions in the Otto Discord community
- Troubleshoot OpenClaw, Hermes, AI agents, automations, integrations, APIs, OAuth, and API keys
- Host Zoom onboarding sessions, office hours, demos, and customer Q&As
- Identify recurring customer questions and turn them into tutorials, videos, and documentation
- Test new Otto features and create educational content before they launch
- Work closely with the product team to communicate customer issues, bugs, and feature requests
- Continuously discover and build new AI automation use cases Otto customers should know about
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with OpenClaw
- Experience using Hermes
- Deep understanding of AI agents and AI automation
- Comfortable working with APIs, integrations, OAuth, webhooks, and API keys
- Experience with tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Composio, n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar platforms
- Ability to independently build and troubleshoot multi-step AI workflows
- Strong technical problem-solving skills
- Excellent ability to explain technical concepts in simple language
- Comfortable recording screen-share tutorial videos
- Comfortable speaking with customers on Zoom and Discord
- Strong written and spoken English
- Experience creating technical documentation or educational content
- Naturally curious about new AI tools, agents, and automation platforms
You’d Be a Great Fit If
You’re the type of person who spends a lot of time experimenting with OpenClaw, Hermes, AI agents, APIs, and automations and naturally enjoys showing other people what you’ve built.
You can take a useful idea and turn it into a working automation, troubleshoot it when something breaks, record a five-minute tutorial explaining it, write a Help Center article, and answer customer questions about it in Discord.
You should be equally comfortable building the workflow, troubleshooting the workflow, and teaching someone else how to use it.
This role is ideal for someone who sits at the intersection of AI engineer, automation builder, technical educator, and customer success.
