Junior Software Engineer - Remote

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our team and assist in designing, coding, and testing software applications. In this role, you will collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, participate in the development of new features, and enhance software performance. Additionally, you'll be involved in documentation and will have the opportunity to continuously learn and apply best practices in software engineering. We use technologies such as ReactJS and Tailwind CSS on the frontend, and NodeJS (specifically NestJS) on the server side. Your enthusiasm for quality software and fresh perspectives will be instrumental. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams. Your primary duties will include: Participate in the technical design and development of our websites, web apps, backend APIs and other backend services Building new applications as well as improving upon existing ones Working closely with the product, marketing, and engineering teams to define, refine, test, and deliver new solutions Communicate progress and seek guidance on technical issues from senior engineers Engage in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and alignment with project standards. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide progress updates, and address any issues. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues. Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team to support ongoing maintenance and future development.
