<strong>Medical Assistant / Office Assistant – Burleson (Full-Time)<br></strong><br>

<strong>Open Eyes Vision Center</strong> is seeking a reliable and compassionate <strong>Medical Assistant / Office Assistant</strong> to join our Burleson clinic. This role combines patient care with administrative support to ensure smooth clinic operations and an excellent patient experience. <strong>Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays are required.<br></strong><br>

<strong>Schedule:</strong> Full-time, averaging 36-40 hours per week. <strong>Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays are required </strong>- always our busiest days in the clinic.<br><br>
</div><div>Responsibilities<br><br>
</div><div>
<strong>Clinical Duties:<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Prepare exam rooms and sanitize equipment</li>
<li>Escort patients, record medical history, and perform basic pre-tests (auto-refraction, tonometry, visual acuity)</li>
<li>Educate patients on eye health and contact lens care</li>
<li>Assist doctors during exams and maintain accurate EHR records</li>
<li>Monitor and restock clinical supplies</li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Administrative Duties:<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Greet and assist patients at check-in</li>
<li>Schedule appointments and manage patient flow</li>
<li>Keep clinic and reception areas clean and welcoming</li>
</ul><div>Qualifications<br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent (required)</li>
<li>Medical Assistant certification (preferred, not required)</li>
<li>Prior medical/optometry office experience (preferred; training provided)</li>
<li>Excellent customer service, multitasking, and communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs</li>
<li>Professional, dependable, and team-oriented</li>
