Job Type: Full-TimeLocation: Remote (India - IST time zone preferred)About the Role:We are looking for a highly technical Automation Engineer to architect, connect, and optimize our 24/7 AI operating system. You will bridge the gap between structured workflow automation (n8n) and autonomous AI agent reasoning (OpenClaw) to build an intelligent, self-sustaining operations stack.
Key Responsibilities:Platform Setup & Hosting: Deploy and configure OpenClaw and n8n on a Virtual Private Server (VPS) or Docker container.
Ensure continuous, 24/7 availability with reliable back-end architecture.Integrations & Webhooks: Create and manage custom endpoints (webhooks) to allow OpenClaw agents to trigger n8n workflows and vice-versa.Custom Node/Skill Development: Build custom n8n nodes and integrate OpenClaw with external APIs, databases (e.g., Supabase, PostgreSQL), and communication platforms (Telegram, Slack, WhatsApp).
System Orchestration: Connect OpenClaw to messaging and productivity tools so it can autonomously read emails, update calendars, and pull data from spreadsheets.Error Handling & Monitoring: Maintain workflow reliability by implementing error handling, retries, and monitoring across both systems.Technical Requirements:Hands-on Experience: 6 months of experience building automation workflows in n8n (including custom nodes and expressions).AI & Agent Frameworks: Strong familiarity with the OpenClaw ecosystem and connecting it to n8n.
API & Coding Skills: Proficiency with REST APIs, JSON data structures, and the HTTP Request node in n8n. Good knowledge of JavaScript or Python.Cloud/DevOps: Experience setting up self-hosted environments (Docker, VPS hosting, cloud services).Prompt Engineering: Understanding of how LLMs interpret inputs and the ability to set up context, tools, and prompts for AI agents.
