Role Description
This full-time position is for an OPD Manager located on-site in Bengaluru. The OPD Manager will oversee the daily operations of the outpatient department, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal patient care. Responsibilities include staff management, coordinating patient schedules, maintaining electronic health records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. The role also involves analyzing operational processes, improving patient satisfaction, and facilitating communication between patients, doctors, and administrative staff. The OPD Manager will play a key role in creating an efficient and compassionate healthcare environment.
Qualifications
- Operational management skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and process optimization
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in English to engage effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare providers
- Proficiency in maintaining and managing electronic health records and other healthcare-related administrative tools
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies, and compliance standards
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address workflow and patient care challenges
- Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to mentor and motivate staff
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospital Management, or related field is preferred
- Previous experience in managing outpatient departments or healthcare facilities is a strong advantage
