Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The OPD Coordinator will be responsible for managing outpatient department operations, including patient registrations, appointment scheduling, and maintaining patient records. Key responsibilities include coordinating with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow, handling inquiries and concerns with professionalism, and assisting in streamlining administrative processes to enhance patient experience. The coordinator will also monitor department efficiency and ensure adherence to hospital protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Organizational skills, time management, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and medical staff
- Proficiency in healthcare management software and basic computer skills
- Familiarity with hospital operations and a basic understanding of healthcare protocols
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations confidentially
- Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or a similar field
- Prior experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is highly desirable
