Smart Contract Engineer

We're looking for experienced smart contract engineers to play a crucial role in developing and securing the Optimism Collective's blockchain infrastructure. As a smart contract engineer at OP Labs, you'll lead the design, implementation, and optimization of smart contracts that form the backbone of our ecosystem. What are the role responsibilities? Develop, test, and deploy smart contracts that secure billions of dollars. Help push forward the state-of-the-art for how smart contracts are developed and deployed. Keep up-to-date with the bleeding edge of EVM changes and proposals. Work with other teams and other disciplines within OP Labs, and with our ecosystem of external developers and partners. What skills do you bring? Proven experience as a Solidity Developer with a strong portfolio of deployed smart contracts. In-depth knowledge of the EVM and Ethereum development tools. Proficiency in Solidity, with a deep understanding of smart contract development patterns. Strong understanding of security practices in smart contract development. Strong understanding of cryptographic principles. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
