About the role

Oovacha is a fast-growing healthcare technology company that develops software tools for the pharmaceutical industry and hospitals. We have developed our own AI-based software tools that allow us to automate data-related operations for our customers. Our initial products and features include automated medical record extraction, AI-assisted clinical trial data cleaning, and AI-assisted clinical trial compliance management. Across our products, we are using AI to extract information from and generate recommendations based on our customer's healthcare data and documents. We are seeking a detail-oriented and meticulous clinical data quality control analyst to process data using our software platform, review data that our system outputs, and reconcile the output with the original customer source data to ensure that our software is functioning properly. About the Role: As clinical data quality control analyst, you will have three primary responsibilities: 1. Operate our medical record extraction platform and perform quality control review of our product's output 2. Perform user acceptance testing and create test data for our clinical trial data cleaning and compliance management products. 3. Participate in our product development efforts by providing end-user feedback to our software developers. This role demands a highly responsible, detail-oriented and meticulous individual who can understand and interpret healthcare and patient data. Responsibilities: · Software Operations: You will be responsible for operating Oovacha's medical record extraction product using our standard operating procedures (SOP). This involves initiating the medical record data intake process, initiating the different data extraction and transformation steps through the user interface, addressing and remediating any data quality errors the system catches, and generating the final data outputs. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating our SOPs. · Quality Control & Data Reconciliation: Youwill be responsible for reviewing the medical record extraction product's data outputs. This requires analyzing the output data for any obvious missing or illogical data. This also involves reconciling the data output with the original medical records (physician notes and lab reports) to ensure that the output data is accurate and complete. Patient medical records may be in the range of thousands of pages. Discrepancies may need to be manually adjusted and should be logged and reported to our software development team to improve product performance. · User Acceptance Testing: Youwill also be performinguser acceptance testingand generating test datafor our clinical trial data cleaning and compliance management products. Our software developers will be developing new features and you will be responsible for judging whether our platform's responses are appropriate. Any issues you identify will be shared with our software developers who will improve the product performance accordingly. · Security and Compliance: You will be responsible for following and abiding by Oovacha's security and privacy policies. As you will be dealing with sensitive patient data, you are expected to complete the company's HIPAA training and are expected to follow all appropriate compliance rules. You will be required to perform all your work within Oovacha's remote desktop environment. You will not be allowed to store customer data on your local computer. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in a health sciences related field required (e.g., BPharm, BSc Microbiology, MBBS, BAMS) · Master's degree in health sciences related field preferred (e.g., MSc Clinical Research, MPharm) · 2+ Years of experience working in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry · Ability to interpret physician commentary and judgement · Strong understanding of written medical terminology and the English language · Ability to operate and use a software application · Good communication abilities and collaboration skills · Ability to work during UK working hours (2PM IST – 10PM IST) as needed
