Senior Android engineer

We are looking for Android developers who can build pixel-perfect apps. The developer will  usually focus on the front end of the product, but they are also adept at understanding the API services and infrastructure with which the app needs to integrate. The developer is expected to know when to pursue a fully native solution, and also when to use JavaScript to maximize code reuse and understandability.

You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

We are looking for candidates who has experience with the following:

1. React Native (2+ years) :  we use react-native-paper
2. Native Android (2+ years) 
3. CSS
4. RTK Query
5. React hook form
6. Redux Toolkit

Our expectations: 

1. Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
2. Leverage native APIs for deep integrations
3. Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native
4. Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
5. Transition existing React web apps to React Native
6. Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code
7. Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts

Relevance of companies/ setup worked with 

1. Experience in developing Fintech/ consumer-tech products
2. Experience of working on revamping the existing scratchy product to achieve PMF.
3. Folks who have experience of work at early stage startups
4. Must be good communicators as they have to talk to the end users.
