Role Overview
The Senior Consultant will serve as the strategic advisor responsible for designing and guiding the expansion, monetisation, and market positioning of an Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising network.
Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising refers to media formats placed in public environments such as billboards, mall media, transit advertising, digital screens, airport media, and high-footfall commercial locations where audiences encounter advertising outside their homes.
The consultant will focus on expanding advertising inventory, strengthening brand and agency demand, structuring commercial partnerships with property owners, and developing scalable revenue frameworks across the OOH media network.
The role operates at a strategic level and involves business growth advisory, deal structuring, and ecosystem development rather than operational or day-to-day sales management.
Key Responsibilities1. Market & Network Assessment
- Conduct a strategic assessment of the existing OOH media inventory including formats, screen types, and location categories.
- Analyse utilisation levels, occupancy rates, pricing structures, and revenue yield across advertising assets.
- Evaluate current sales structures, agency relationships, and brand engagement patterns within the OOH ecosystem.
2. Inventory Expansion Strategy
- Design a structured roadmap for expanding OOH media assets across high-footfall urban environments.
- Identify priority locations including shopping malls, retail clusters, corporate districts, residential communities, transit corridors, airports, and commercial high streets.
- Develop phased expansion plans for Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities based on audience reach, brand demand, and commercial viability.
3. Media Asset Acquisition & Partnerships
- Develop commercial frameworks for acquiring and managing OOH inventory through partnerships with property owners, developers, mall operators, and infrastructure providers.
- Structure long-term agreements and revenue-sharing models with location partners.
- Provide advisory support during negotiations for new advertising asset deployment.
4. Brand & Agency Demand Development
- Develop strategies to attract advertising demand from brands, marketing teams, and media buying agencies.
- Identify high-spend OOH advertising categories such as FMCG, automotive, retail, consumer electronics, entertainment, and real estate.
- Facilitate strategic introductions and partnerships with key advertisers and media agencies.
5. Advertising Product & Packaging Strategy
- Design advertising packages tailored for brand campaigns, including location-based inventory bundles and network-wide placements.
- Develop pricing structures across premium locations, standard inventory, and long-term advertising packages.
- Create innovative advertising formats and campaign concepts that maximise audience engagement.
6. Revenue & Yield Optimisation
- Develop pricing and yield optimisation strategies to maximise revenue per asset.
- Structure rate cards aligned with location value, audience footfall, and advertiser demand.
- Introduce strategic inventory packaging such as category exclusivity, seasonal advertising packages, and multi-location campaigns.
7. Sales Strategy & Internal Enablement
- Develop a structured sales playbook to guide internal sales teams in approaching brands and agencies.
- Provide advisory on sales incentive structures aligned with revenue growth targets.
- Support the development of sales presentations, advertising proposals, and campaign narratives.
8. Strategic Deal Advisory
- Provide guidance during negotiations for high-value advertising campaigns and long-term media partnerships.
- Support leadership teams in structuring commercial agreements with brands, agencies, and property partners.
- Ensure alignment between network expansion, revenue targets, and long-term market positioning.
