COMPENSATION
$61,800.00 - $77,250.00 annual salary + a generous benefits package to include medical, dental, vision and 10% employer paid 401A through VOYA Financial.
*Hiring Salary Range: $61,800.00 - $69,525.00 annual salary
(starting salary will be within this range based upon qualifications)
SUMMARY
The Health & Wellness Coordinator provides administrative and programmatic support to the Director of Health & Wellness (or HR/Total Rewards leadership) in the coordination and delivery of employee wellness initiatives. This role focuses on program execution, logistics, communication, and tracking to support a healthy, safe, and engaged workforce.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Coordination & Execution
Assist in the implementation of wellness programs and initiatives (e.g., ONT Strong program, fitness challenges, awareness campaigns)
Coordinate logistics for wellness events, including scheduling, materials, vendors, and onsite support
Maintain program calendars and ensure timely execution of initiatives
Administrative Support
Provide direct support to the Director, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and tracking action items
Maintain wellness program documentation, policies, and resources
Monitor daily operations of employee fitness center
Maintain a safe, organized, welcoming gym environment
Conduct routing inspections of equipment
Assist with gym orientations and compliance monitoring
Support of invoice processing, and vendor coordination
Employee Communication & Engagement
Draft and distribute wellness communications (emails, flyers, intranet updates)
Respond to employee inquiries regarding wellness programs and resources
Support engagement efforts by promoting participation and tracking feedback
Data Tracking & Reporting
Track participation and engagement metrics for wellness programs
Compile data and assist in preparing reports and presentations for leadership
Maintain accurate records of program outcomes and attendance
Cross-Functional Support
Partner with HR and Risk Management teams to support aligned initiatives (e.g., ergonomics, safety awareness, etc..)
Collaborate with various departments to enhance the overall employee experience.

PROFILE OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Possesses foundational knowledge in health & wellness practices and a track record of accomplishment in relevant disciplines.
Strong ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Exceptional organizational skills and a proven ability to manage projects with excellent attention to detail.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills essential for effective coordination with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS or procurement systems.
A problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all employees.
Ability to evaluate and prepare clear and concise reports.
Ability to consistently demonstrate the core values of the OIAA.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education, training, and experience that would likely provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform in the position:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or health related field is preferred.
3 (three) years involving wellness or gym-based experience
Knowledge of gym operations or fitness center environments
Event coordination experience
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS
Ability to pass all background / reference checks, knowledge examinations, as well as aptitude tests necessary to obtain an OIAA employee badge at ONT
CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
Personal training certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire

This is an at-will, non-exempt position. Only a valid and properly executed employment agreement may alter status as an at-will employee. Verbal contracts are not valid.
