Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for an Online Web Development Mentor for the following shifts:
Australia: 11:30AM to 4:30PM
UK: 9:30PM to 2:30AM
US: 2:30AM to 7:30AM
The mentor will guide and train students in coding and web development concepts while fostering an engaging learning environment. Responsibilities include delivering interactive lessons, providing individual support where needed, crafting insightful feedback, and adapting instruction to meet the learning needs of students. The mentor will also inspire and motivate young learners to develop coding and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Training skills to effectively engage and guide students
- Excellent Analytical Skills and Research abilities to design and deliver relevant and impactful lessons
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React and Bootstrap
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to varying student needs and learning styles
- Familiarity with web development concepts and technologies
- Students are NOT eligible for this role
- Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or instructional roles is a plus
