Role Description The Online USMLE Tutor (Step 1 & Step 2 CK) is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. The tutor will conduct live teaching sessions, small-group discussions, and one-on-one mentoring focused on Step 1 and Step 2 CK content and test-taking strategies. Daily responsibilities include designing lesson plans, explaining complex medical concepts in an understandable way, reviewing practice questions and exam simulations, and providing individualized feedback on students’ performance. The tutor will also help learners develop study schedules, track progress, and refine their preparation using evidence-based teaching methods. Collaboration with other educators to improve the curriculum and maintain up-to-date content aligned with current USMLE guidelines is expected.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Writing skills to explain complex concepts clearly and provide constructive feedback.
- Excellent Analytical Skills and Research abilities to interpret exam trends, question patterns, and current medical evidence.
- Demonstrated Training and teaching experience, preferably in USMLE preparation or medical education.
- Solid knowledge base in basic sciences and clinical medicine relevant to USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK.
- USMLE Step 1 and/or Step 2 CK scores in a competitive range; prior tutoring or teaching experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to design structured study plans, manage classroom dynamics, and support diverse learners.
- Comfort with using digital tools, question banks, presentation software, and online learning platforms.
- Medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) required; completion of clinical rotations or residency exposure is an advantage.
